Role: Senior Endpoint Management Engineer

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: Denver, CO, US (Hybrid - onsite 3 days)

Rate: $55/hr on W2

We are seeking a seasoned endpoint management engineer to support, optimize, and advance a large-scale global endpoint environment. This role will be responsible for endpoint engineering, desktop administration, automation, software distribution, patch management, compliance initiatives, and device lifecycle operations across an enterprise organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on technical expertise combined with experience managing modern workplace technologies at scale. Success in this role requires the ability to independently resolve complex technical challenges while partnering with global IT and cybersecurity teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support standardized Windows desktop and laptop environments.
• Oversee endpoint lifecycle processes including provisioning, deployment, upgrades, refresh programs, and device decommissioning.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), Windows Autopilot, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Package, validate, and deploy enterprise applications and software updates.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain PowerShell-based automation and remediation solutions.
• Manage endpoint patching, compliance programs, vulnerability remediation efforts, governance activities, and related reporting.
• Provide Tier 3 support for complex endpoint management incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to strengthen endpoint security and compliance.
• Participate in modernization projects, including migration to cloud-based endpoint management platforms.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable endpoint services.
• Travel to regional or operational sites as required, up to 25%.

Technical Expertise

Candidates should possess strong hands-on experience in many of the following areas:

• Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) administration within large enterprise environments
• Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, and Group Policy administration
• Windows 10/11 deployment, imaging, upgrades, and endpoint lifecycle management
• Application packaging, software distribution, and patch management
• PowerShell scripting and process automation
• Endpoint compliance, reporting, and operational governance
• Security best practices and secure endpoint administration

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience administering Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 deployments, upgrades, imaging, and endpoint lifecycle management.
• Background in application packaging, software deployment, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Knowledge of endpoint compliance requirements, operational governance, and reporting practices.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and secure endpoint management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
